Our blog will feature musings by the four Folklife Center superheroes seen below (From left, Kevin Rogan, Erica Gonyea, Tisha Dolton, Todd DeGarmo). With diverse research interests and areas of expertise, our writings will be as unique as we are. Readers should always expect to be entertained and enlightened, though, as they learn about the work we do and the treasures housed in our special collections and archives.
Speaking of treasures, visitors to the Folklife Center at Crandall Public Library may recognize this cartoon illustration of the Folklife Center crew. The original artwork, by the incredibly talented Christopher Baldwin, hangs in the entrance to our reading room. Christopher exhibited artwork from his graphic novel, "Glens Falls," in the Folklife Gallery in late 2019. Staff members were transformed into 'toons shortly thereafter.
